We first saw Hibernian's work while wandering through an open house for a single family home they had built in a nearby neighborhood. We had been looking for a house for almost two years and were disappointed by the new construction we had seen. So much of it was quickly and shoddily built – with high end stainless steel appliances to distract you from the poor construction and design of the homes. Then we saw the Hibernian home. Beautiful millwork and finishes. Solid wood doors. Floor plans that showed someone really thought through the use of each room and the flow of the house. We were impressed. But, we were on a budget and the two homes they were completing were a bit out of our range.
